Trump attends rally ahead of early voting

ROBSTOWN, Texas - Former President Donald Trump attended a rally Saturday in south Texas just two days before early voting is set to start.

Voters have a lot on their minds before early voting begins in Texas.

“From inflation to abortion to crime, everything,” Jeriann Hix said.

Hix is in of thousands who attended Saturday’s rally in Robstown featuring former President Trump, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, and Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick.

According to the Texas Tribune, Texas Governor Greg Abbott was not in attendance as he was at a campaign event in Florida.

The former President took the stage just one day after being subpoenaed by the January 6 panel.

“We deserve a government that will deserve our own sovereignty, secure our own land, stand up for our own families and protest the people of our country,” Trump said.
